Long time... No post.
Well, that is kinda true. I have been posting quite a bit, just not here. Yup, I have moved blog sites. I'll still post to this one from time to time, but I have pretty much switched to the new blog which can be found here: http://krayolasketchblog.wordpress.com/
So, anyone following me here and wondering what I have been up to go to http://krayolasketchblog.wordpress.com/ and find out.

Well, we finally did it. Yessir, we had us a full out Dine and Draw Session here in good 'ole Savannah. Let me tell you it was great just to relax with some buds and do some drawing. Check out the Skecth-Its blog for more about the D&D.

Something new and a little reminder.
Hey folks,
I haven't posted anything new in a while so I thought I'd pop up a couple of random pages from my sketch book.
Also, as a reminder, we are having a Dine and Draw Session in Savannah, GA this weekend. We are planning to meet up at Shane's Rib Shake at 6730 Waters Avenue (the Eisenhower Square), Savannah GA 31405 around noon on Saturday July 31st. Have a bite to eat and then do some drawing. If you can come out, we'd like to see you there. If not, I plan to post up some of the sketches from the D&D Session over on the Sketch-Its blog for all to see.
Now on to some drawing...

Some oldies, but goodies.
It feels like I haven't posted anything new on the blog since like April.
Oh- wait... Yup, it appears I haven't posted anything since April. Oh well, here are a couple of older pieces I did. I was playing around with a way to color images that are very tonal, pencil, charcoal or even ink-wash drawings. I wanted to lay in colors, but not cover the tonal work of the image.
Also, one of these pieces was an ad Drew Struzan did for, probably my favorite show of all time, Tales of the Gold Monkey. Just recently released officially on DVD. ~joy~
Next up is a piece by Mitch Byrd. Yes it is edited for young eyes that might wonder across my blog.
And last, is a Captain America piece by Mr. Mike Zeck.
I think they are all successful, but dang this type of coloring takes a while.
